Sierrakorva is a superb spring fly. It’s Pahtakorva’s colourful cousin! When the river gets a bit more than tea colour to it – this is so deadly. A pattern many should fish more often. It got its name from The Nedre Sierra Pool on the mighty Alta where it has taken a few fat ones. We love this fly, one we think is beautiful and that works so well in the humus colour of the spring or after a heavy rain. Let the conditions decide the size. Big for the cold spring waters and smaller for the prefect conditions after a summer rain.
