Winchester issued the Sioux Carbine in 1976. The gold plated reciever is engraved on the left side with a Sioux warrior riding past a buffalo skull and a squatting Sioux Brave holding a rifle. The right side shows a Sioux Peace Pipe decorated with eagle feathers. A tepee village and a Buffalo. It has a gold medallion in the buttstock with 8 gold plated brass tacks encircling the medallion.
